Inflated Facades

Inflated Facades Featured

The advent of extruded and weaved polymers created opportunities to use air as an effective medium for mitigating the effects of the sun and temperature variables. The facades are generally constructed in pillow-like shapes that receive air intake to stabilize the shape and provide an insulated barrier. The inflated facades can take many shapes depending on the structure, extruded material limitations and the architectural sightlines desired.
